Breaking barriers to chart new routes
After Essgee had realized its ambitions to successfully throne their own construction company, the visionary group decided to spread his sights to other avenues. And was highly successful at that as well. While, real estate still remains the flagship business, the other investments are extremely promising and are growing at a fast pace.
Today, the Essgee Group has a Wind Power facility that generates over 6.25 mega watts per annum. Following this venture was the Mining and Commodities Industries – an initiative that is proven to be worth its while.
POWER
Having created a niche for themselves in the realty and development space, Essgee decided to venture into generation of power by promoting non-conventional sources of energy and to reduce emissions. Thus was born a wind power installation in Maharashtra’s Sangli and Dhule District – that generates over 6.25-mega watts wind power per annum.
PRIME HYGINE
Essgee has also acquired a strategic shareholding in Prime Hygiene Care Pvt. Ltd. – a company renowned for its spectrum of quality and cost-effective hygiene products. From sanitary napkins and baby products to adult diapers and wipes and moist tissues and anti-bacterial wipes, the company has set a new benchmark in personal care and hygiene in India.
Further on, armed with a mission to provide world-class care to consumers in India and also to raise the standard, awareness and quality personal health and its affiliated services and facilities, Prime Hygiene tied up with American Hygienics Corporation, an International ISO 9001 Company.
MUTHA SPHEROCAST
Located in Satara, India, Mutha Spherocast India Pvt. Ltd., has over its brief span, set the bar for other Indian cast component manufacturers, becoming a preferred source of quality Machined Ductile Iron components – not only for Indian Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) but also for international OEMs in the Automobile sector. Mature process and metallurgical capabilities backed by cutting-edge technologies and skilled manpower enable MSIPL the advantage of international outsourcing and a lower manufacturing cost that does not comprise on quality.
Today, MSIPL has in its employ, a small but dedicated workforce of 250 skilled professionals who are responsible for the yearly production capacity of 6000 MT. But small is powerful, because MSIPL has a client list that is a matter of immense pride – from domestic automobile giants like Bajaj Auto Ltd., TELCO, Kinetic Engineering. MINING
Essgee set foot into mining Lakha stone and established this facility to meet the advancing boom in the infrastructure and construction business. Today, with expansive mines in Jaislamer, Rajasthan (India), it is one of the premier suppliers of this widely used, bright red granite stone to a wide spectrum of builders, architects and interior designers.
COMMODITIES
Essgee has entered in to a JV with a UK based firm to meet the rising demand and supply gap in commodities. The venture comprises importing seasonal agricultural commodities, mainly comprising of cashew, cocoa, ginger, and other much-vaunted produce from producing countries, like Africa and supplying the same to developed economies including Europe, Vietnam and India.
